Thanks to the boom in mass transportation systems in Colombia, in the local market for buses and BRT buses, a growing sector due to the implementation of rapid transit bus systems such as TransMilenio, Megabús, Transcaribe, Transmetro, among others, which also of the local Colombian market is manufacturing articulated buses for the Latin American market, and studies are currently progressing to serve the African market from the Republic of Ghana, under the coordination of Fox-Afric Investments Ltd.

  • BUSSCAR have buses from 7 meters to 28 meters (Bi-articulated buses for 260 passengers), in different segments, BRT, Urban, coach, special, tourism and special mobile units, and

  • Make bus bodies in different types of technologies: Diesel, Gas, Hybrid and Electric.

  • Have 3 production lines with a manufacturing capacity of 20 units per day. The unit of measurement BUSSCAR have is the equivalent of a 9-meter bus.

  • 1700 people work at BUSSCAR, with an engineering and design team of 80 experts.

  • BUSSCAR export to different countries in Latin America, in 2021 more than USD 25 Mill.

  • In 2019 BUSSCAR manufactured 2,400 units for different segments with a turnover of more than USD 70 Million, in 2020 manufactured 2,740 units with a turnover of USD 85 Million and by 2021 manufactured 2,380 equivalent units giving a turnover of USD 65 Million of which 596 will be electric, the largest fleet in Latin America.

  • In 2019 BUSSCAR delivered the largest fleet in Latin America to Gas for Bogotá, there were 487 buses between articulated and bi-articulated, also we launched our first bodywork for standard electric bus of 12 Mts and capacity of 80 passengers.

  • BUSSCAR have an amazing and great solution for coach and tourism segment. The double-deck and BUSSTAR 380 are specialized for these modalities.

  • The Turibuss, or Urbanuss Pluss Tour, runs through the streets of Mexico City. BUSSCAR have renovated a fleet of 25 units for ‘Autobuses de Oriente’ – ADO with all the characteristics of the double-decker urban tourist bus.

  • BUSSCAR is recognized for its social role inside and outside the organization. Every year BUSSCAR reward the best recognized worker a house.
